Support for Bun has been added to Expo CLI and EAS, enabling developers to use Bun for app creation, package installation, script running, and app building.
Users must install Bun on their local machines to begin using it for their Expo apps.
EAS build system will automatically use Bun based on the presence of a bun.lockb file in the codebase.
By default, EAS uses bun@1.0.2, but developers can specify a different version in their eas.json file.
Contributors acknowledged for adding Bun support include Evan Bacon, Cedric van Putten, Szymon Dziedzic, and Kadi Kraman.
